After working at Publix bakery for 18 years, she decided to start her own cupcake business from her small apartment kitchen. Her signature moist and melt-in-your-mouth cupcakes had won her a Top 25 People's Choice Award at Dessert Wars Season 7 in Miami. Her story was also featured in The Miami Times and Lakeland Ledger.
